Robin has worked for the past twenty years in education, as a classroom teacher, an environmental educator, as a consultant and now as the Associate Director of The Asperger's Association of New England. Her experience includes teaching ages from kindergarten to college age and she has had a special interest in inclusive education. She has served on many committees in her community; such as the Equity Team at her local high school, whose mission is to look at the issues of bullying and harassing behavior. She was a member of Valley Outreach, a coalition of agencies and professionals networking to provide supports to children and families.  Robin was a member of the Easter Seals Autism Steering Committee for the North Country, which helps to coordinate services for families who have children with ASD. She has graduated from Antioch New England Graduate School's Autism Spectrum Disorders Certificate Program with specialized training in pragmatic group skills and has her Master's in education from Antioch.  Robin has studied under nationally recognized and published authors Elsa Abele, Teresa Bolick and Michelle Garcia Winner.

Robin is a dynamic speaker who really understands our population of socially challenged children. Her focus and expertise is working with classroom teachers and other professionals who work with socially challenged children on a daily basis. She also understand the struggles that families have and works with parents to improve school relationships. Robin works with professionals and parents in trainings to help understand the issues associated with pragmatic/social skill deficits.  She presents to schools and teachers on how to best accommodate the children in their classrooms with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyper-Activity Disorder (ADHD), and Non-Verbal Learning Disorder (NLD). She works with parents on how to best support and work with schools on accommodating their children.  Robin has presented nationally on the subject of accommodating children with Asperger’s and ADHD et al in a classroom setting. With her experience as a teacher, her education and background Robin understands the complexity of working with this population of children.
